Can Affiliate Marketing Crash? [Are The Days Numbered?]

Can the affiliate marketing business model crash? Will people ever stop doing affiliate marketing, and turn to other business models?

There are other business models that one can choose from. You got multi-level marketing, and dropshipping. You can launch your very own coaching and consulting business. Or you can have your very own Mastermind.

With all of these choices, one might assume that affiliate marketing is a dying method of building a full-time online business.

Do not let that sort of thinking into your head. Affiliate marketing is very much ALIVE.

Can Affiliate Marketing Crash?

No, affiliate marketing will NOT crash.

It’s not going to go away anytime soon. One of the main reasons is that it is a growing multi-billion dollar industry. According to demandsage.com, the industry in 2023 is estimated to be a whopping 17 billion dollars.

But that is not the only reason why the affiliate marketing industry will not crash. I will show you how it benefits EVERYBODY who is involved in the business. The three main parties are the seller, the buyer, and the affiliate marketer.

Why Affiliate Marketing Will Not Crash? Some REAL Reasons

REASON NUMBER ONE: The Seller Saves MONEY

Many big companies are offering affiliate programs. Amazon, Walmart, Airbnb, Tesla, and so on. In fact, for almost every niche or audience you want to target as an affiliate marketer, there is an affiliate program.

Airbnb have their own affiliate program

Why would companies have an affiliate program?

Answer: they do not have to spend money on advertising their product or service. That is the job of the affiliate marketer. They only pay the affiliate marketer once he or she makes a SALE.

REASON NUMBER TWO: The Affiliate Marketer ONLY Markets

You as the affiliate marketer only need to provide value to the buyer.

Give them the information that they need to make an informed decision about the product or service that you are promoting.

You do not have to worry about after-sales customer support or having to process any returns. You also do not have to purchase the product or service that you are promoting.

Though I would recommend it. It shows more credibility. It will also be easy to talk about when you are doing your product reviews.

That is why I can talk with confidence and recommend two of my favorite business training platforms for newbies. I BOUGHT both of them. I tested them and know that it works.

They are Invincible Marketer and Wealthy Affiliate respectively.

REASON NUMBER THREE: The Customer Gets Value

These days, people want more help, and more value before they part with their money.

That’s where the reviews come into the picture. The more helpful the review, the more likely that person will make an informed decision and purchase the product.

That’s where affiliate marketers can provide the most helpful review, and make sure the customer gets value.

With affiliate marketing, EVERYBODY WINS!

Affiliate Marketing Will Not Crash…but Things Can Change

And that is with reference to how people do the business model.

When I first started affiliate marketing back in 2015, I learned SEO affiliate marketing. That is where you have your own website. You write articles and learn how to get them ranked on Google and other search engines.

The more visitors you get to your website, the more potential buyers you have for whatever it is that you are promoting. FREE unlimited traffic.

These days, you have social media. Marketers use it as a very important source of traffic. You have Instagram, TikTok, and FaceBook reels. You have Pinterest idea pins, and YouTube that you can use as well.

And you also have PPC(pay-per-click), which has been around like SEO affiliate marketing.

At the end of the day, it has not changed the purpose of the affiliate marketing business model. It does not matter which path you choose, it’s still all about helping people and giving value.

Everything else will fall into place.

I personally enjoy blogging and doing affiliate marketing that way. If you would like to learn more about my number one recommendation, just click here.
